Maned Wolf pup @Exmoor Zoo

After spending days hedge cutting I thought I'd take a break down Exmoor Zoo and I am so glad I did!

I spent the whole day there and while walking around on the first lap I overheard some people talking about the chances of seeing the 3 week old Maned Wolf. The 2 adults were walking around a lot, and would keep heading into the hut to check in on the pup. Then after some time, when nobody else was around, one of them brought the pup out!

The baby didnt hang around long though, and quickly ran back into the hut. It popped its little face out the doorway a couple times but that was the last I saw it.

Throughout the day I heard quite a few people talking about it and met some people who had been waiting, watching intently at the windows hoping to see the pup. Some of the keepers also mentioned how rare it was to see so early on, so I'm glad I managed to grab a couple photos.
