Smeatharpe Banger Bashing!

I may have gone a little overboard with spending my money, but I thought I would treat myself to a new camera body to replace the xt200. Unfortunately it is starting to fall apart a little but it has had its fair use.

Equally unfortunate; when I looked on eBay for a deal on maybe another xs-10, an x-h2 popped up, sending me into a little rabbit hole of research into said camera. It looked pretty darn snazzy, so I phoned the local camera store and they had one in stock, just calling for me to rescue it from the shelves.

To give it a good testing we headed to Smeatharpe stadium, a short drive from home, to watch the banger bash and f2 racing. The burst on the x-h2 is incredible, though the autofocus did struggle a little with the chain fence, so I went full manual. The camera gave some awesome 8x slow motion, and some lovely shots of the cars despite being a little unfamiliar with all the camera controls.

I paired the x-h2 with the 80mm macro for the day, and luckily they are both weather sealed as the rain came in heavy midway through the races.
